Off-polarising content management system (OSS) company Jordan Seo is a big fan of Google Drive, which he uses as his primary document management tool.
So when he saw a Google Drive article titled ’20 Ways To Keep Your Work and Family Organised In One Place’ he was intrigued.
The article listed 20 key points that he believes should be a key point in any document management system.
However, the article was in English, which is a language he’s not familiar with.
So, Jordan wanted to know what it was, and how he could use it.
So he started to search for it.
As a native English speaker, Jordan knew that Google Drive is available in many languages.
Jordan wanted his Google Drive to be in one of those languages.
He even checked out the Google Drive documentation to see if it had any tips for how to use it in English.
After some searching, he found the section on how to get a Google Doc in English on the company’s website.
As Jordan was still not sure how to make his own copy of the document, he searched Google for help and found a Google guide to creating a Google doc in different languages.
It was a lot easier to understand and work with than the Google guide.
Jordan went on to create a copy of his own Google doc, and shared it on Facebook.
He was amazed by the response.
The comments on his post were overwhelmingly positive.
His post received thousands of likes and shares.
He then took the guide and translated it into Arabic, and published it on his site.
He received thousands more comments and shares from Arabic-speaking readers.
Jordan has been using Google Drive for almost two years, and has already had several clients request him to use Google Docs in their own documents.
His website is one of the top 3 most popular in the world with over 15,000 users.
Jordan says that, for him, using Google Doc is more important than writing his own content because, in his opinion, you have more control over your content.
